After gaining a degree from Edinburgh College of Art in Visual Communication, Cleo spent the first part of her career working with children and young people making stop motion animations across London schools. In 2005 she began to retrain as a textile designer exploring and producing surface design for soft furnishings, wallpaper and upholstery.
2009 brought the birth of her first child Florence with Dolly appearing shorty after in 2010. In order to document the creative things she did as a stay at home mum, she started her blog here at www.cleocobb.co.uk Some of these creative projects were gifts for friends and family and some of these gifts developed into the products and have evolved into the brand that is Cleo Cobb – Awesome Things For Kids, a collection of graphic led clothes, accessories and gifts for babies, toddlers and children that incorporates printed fabrics with strong iconography. She began selling online in 2011 and became a trader in the East End’s iconic Spitalfield’s Market in 2014 where you can find her and her stall of every colour each Saturday and Sunday.
